Ways to Practice French With Your Children

If you are a native French speaker or consider yourself comfortable in French, then it can be easy enough to: Read books in French with your child. If you are not bilingual, why not try normalizing French in the home by turning on French TV and/or Radio with bilingual children’s programming or cartoons (mini-TFO, Passe-Partout, change your Netflix and Disney language settings to French).

Education Minister Stephen Lecce and the Minister of Colleges and Universities, Ross Romano, announced the Ontario Government’s investment in a four-year strategic action plan to address the French and French as a Second Language (FSL) teacher shortage in the province.
