CPF Ontario Youth Leadership Award - For Outstanding Youth in FSL

Nominations are now open! 
Nominate a CPF Youth Volunteer who has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and commendable initiative in furthering FSL programming in Ontario. Your nominee should be in Grades 10, 11 or 12 in Ontario. 

To nominate to this new award, please review the guidelines and complete a CPF Ontario Youth Leadership Award Submission Form and submit by May 6, 2024.

The CPF Ontario Youth Leadership Award is a new award established (2023 is Year 2) by Canadian Parents for French (Ontario) to recognize the dedication, contributions, and initiative of youth towards FSL programming. We presented this award, the CPF Ontario Youth Leadership Award, for the second time only to Ana Weekes at our most recent Family Event on October 14, 2023. Congratulations, Ana! 

Mlacak Award - For Outstanding Volunteer Contributions to CPF ON

The Mlacak Award was established by CPF Ontario in 1991. It is a special tribute to the tireless volunteer work of Beth Mlacak and the outstanding contribution she made to our organization.
This award was presented to 13-year volunteer and CPF ON advocate Alanda Lantz of Hanoverwho has made an outstanding contribution to CPF ON. Congratulations, Alanda!

McGillivray Award - For Outstanding Educators in FSL

The McGillivray Award was established in 1987. It is a special tribute to the memory of Russ McGillivray and the outstanding contribution he made to the development of FSL education. Each year, it is presented to a person in a position of responsibility in education who has shown initiative, leadership, and commitment in promoting the development of FSL learning in Ontario.
