Parents & Educators of Grades 4-12 can visit our Concours d’art oratoire page!

We know raising children is tough because we’re parents and educators, too.
Let us help you help your kids and students find more success in their FSL education journeys. All over this page, you will find links to resources to help you. There are two newsfeeds directed at parents:

  1. Parents & Educators” linked below; and
  2. For Parents

Let us know if you have any questions: info@on.cpf.ca.

This Newsfeed is for parents and educators.
In our main website navigation, you will find it under: Participate, then this page/ link: https://on.cpf.ca/en/category/parents-and-educators/

How would you like a presentation personalized to your students or group of learners? We can work with you to create an engaging, memorable presentation.

Choosing the right FSL program for your children can be confusing. Here you’ll find information to make your decision a little easier. For example, what are the answers to the following questions: What’s the difference between core French and extended French programs? What does ENTRY POINTS mean for early, middle and late entry for French immersion programs? Does it make a difference as to how bilingual my child will be at graduation?

One of the biggest fears of parents with children studying French is not being able to help them with their studies when their French knowledge surpasses yours. We have free or low cost French lessons for CPF members to help alleviate your concerns.

Virtual learning is more prevalent now than ever. Here you’ll find information on the latest topics and trends in FSL education to help you stay current.

Conferences

In-person conferences are not only a great way to learn about FSL education and network with like-minded parents and educators, they’re also a lot of fun!
Check out our provincial conference known as: CPF Ontario Family French Weekend, below…

FAMILIES LEARNING TOGETHER
CPF ON Family Weekend is literally a weekend of fun and educational activities for families whose children are learning French in school in Ontario. Usually, all day Saturday, Children and Youth will participate in activities in French, while adults attend insightful and helpful presentations and workshops. In previous years, we have also held out Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the Sunday morning of the event. That may change.

We need YOU!
