This winter, we invite you to register for CPF Ontario’s Concours d’art oratoire for grades 4 to 12 as an in-class activity, where students will have an opportunity to prepare a traditional or an impromptu speech and exercise their spontaneous oral production skills. Teachers may choose to select three class winners by using the traditional or impromptu judging rubrics.

O’Poésie is a French Second Language (FSL) poetry contest for 6 to 18-year-old youth. This is an opportunity for FSL students to explore the beauty and expressivity of the French language through a creative learning project. DEADLINE: February 9, 2022

The Pathways to Bilingual Success Virtual Youth Conference for students in Gr. 10-12 highlighted the benefits of bilingualism and potential career pathways, with a special focus on the advantages and steps to becoming a French Second Language teacher! In honour of the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Canadian Parents for French is encouraging our members and their families to wear orange to recognize and commemorate the tragic history and ongoing legacy of residential schools, and to honour their survivors, their families, and communities.
