This blog was developed by Martine, the owner of Camp Tournesol, to help support parents whose children learn French as a second language.

Martine started Camp Tournesol, a French summer camp, in 2001. She is a francophone born and raised in Montreal and is an active supporter of bilingualism. Martine quickly developed a passion for encouraging children learning French as a second language by exposing them to cultural and social language learning opportunities, believing this would help them increase their success and commitment with French.
