Le Chef à L’école

Le Chef à L’école is a new concept in teaching that will boost your student’s enthusiasm for learning the French language! We combine a fun atmosphere of preparing kid-friendly French recipes with a story-based lesson in French Canadian culture. We’ll come to your school with all that is needed for your students to cook, learn French culture, listen to French music and eat wonderfully prepared kid-friendly French food. This exciting French event will boost the interest in your classroom through the use of French in fun and practical ways. We do sessions for JK through Highschool – both Core French and Immersion!

Invite a French Author to your School

Mireille Messier offers workshops, events and school visits for students (K-6) from French Immersion schools. Meetings aim to help students discover the joy of reading and writing while giving them the opportunity to better understand the writing profession and present the steps necessary to create a book. Games, creative writing and/or development of the imagination will be part of each presentation. All workshops are tailored to the age group of the students.

IFAW

The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) works to improve the welfare of wild and domestic animals throughout the world by reducing commercial exploitation of animals, protecting wildlife habits, and assisting animals in distress. IFAW seeks to motivate the public to prevent cruelty to animals and to promote animal welfare and conservation policies that advance the well-being of both animals and people. Our Animal Action education program tries to motivate the public to promote animal welfare and conservation. Public education is a key component of all our priority campaigns.
