2016 CPF Ontario Annual General Meeting (AGM) Highlights

Canadian Parents for French held their Volunteer Leaders – Past, Present & Future Conference and 40th AGM in Ottawa on October 14-16, 2016. Attendees enjoyed informative discussions, presentations and workshops discussing French Second Language education in Canada. Events also included CPF’s receipt of the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages’ Award presented by the Commissioner of Official Languages, the President’s Banquet honouring CPF’s Volunteer Leaders of the “Past, Present and Future”, and much more. Guest appearances were made by the Honourable Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario, and Graham Fraser, Canada’s sixth Commissioner of Official Languages.

CPF Ontario also held their Annual General Meeting on October 14, 2016 in Ottawa.

We are pleased to announce our board of directors for 2016-2017: Mary Cruden, president, Mary Anne Alton, vice president, Denise Harding, treasurer, Pascal Arseneau, secretary and our directors Jayne Evans, Myron Karpiuk, Wadeed Irfan and Denise Massie.
